I have the same dilema. I have quite a bunch of stuff hiding in the closet (from the MCM sale, from AG orders, ebay and two really great garage sale finds recently). My DD is very into American Girl this year but I don't want to give her too much and in the past we haven't really had a lot of packages for each child. What I was thinking of is to put together things in 'themes'. Such as outfits/accessories that tie together in some way and package each 'theme' in the same box. For example, I have a couple of Kirsten dresses as well as her school lunch. I thought I'd package all of the Kirsten stuff together in one box. I also have several AG of today items that I could put together. I think then it won't seem as she has more boxes than normal to open but she'll be able to enjoy a lot of the items I've been saving in the closet. That is my plan for the moment. We'll see what actually happens when I start wrapping! - Meg B.
